2006 Chris Chambers Youth Football Skills Camp
The Chris Chambers Youth Football Skills Camp was held at Luke Easter Park, June 30, 2006 in Cleveland, Ohio. The camp enhanced the knowledge
and skills of youth between the ages of 11 and 14 through one on one interaction with the professional athletes and trained staff. One hundred and ten participants ages 11 - 14 enrolled in the camp through community muny leagues. All youth learned advanced skills and teqniques to help them become better players, teammates, and individuals. The camp goal was to bring together inter city youth from around the Greater Cleveland area in an effort to provide an organized football event. The event enhanced participants’ critical thinking skills, self-confidence, and a life time experience gained working with professional athletes. The camp provided and opportunity for youth to hear inspiring words from NFL talents about the importance of education, exercise and good sportsmanship.
